Our Story

Hey flower friends!

We’re Frank and Tina Floyd of Floyd Farm, a 20-acre farm and (future!) event space in Central Washington State. We grow big fields of dahlias, zinnias, tulips, and many other specialty blooms. We also offer summer farm you-pick events and workshops at the farm.

We never thought we’d retire to farming full-time, but here we are: stewarding the land together and working to feed the souls of our friends and community. We’re honored that you follow along with us, and we love sharing the beauty of our flowers and our land with you.

Tina Floyd is a fifth-generation farmer. She and her husband Frank founded Floyd Farm U-pick in 2023. There, they grow and sell cut flowers and invite visitors to the farm for workshops and open farm events.

Frank and Tina met in 1986 as wildland firefighters on separate crews. They married, had a couple of kids, and then left Central Washington for Frank’s career at an agricultural cooperative in California. Now, almost 30 years later, they have come back home to farm.

With Tina’s background in environmental horticulture and Frank’s experience managing specialty crops, the two are excited for their farm to take root and serve the Ellensburg community.
